    Calcium citrate is a form of calcium that does not irritate the digestive system and therefore, it is ideal for dogs and cats with delicate digestion to cover their daily calcium requirements.

    Calcium ensures the health of bones and teeth, as well as it is indispensable to the normal functioning of the organism.

    It is a useful supplement also in case of increased calcium requirements (such as in puppies and lactating bitches).

    It is also recommended for animals kept on home-cooked food, to cover their calcium requirements.

    Its calcium content is ~ 21%.

    Calcium supplementation may become necessary if:

    • You keep your pet on home-cooked food and you want to ensure the intake of calcium
    • Your pet consumes the B.A.R.F. diet, but without raw bones
    • Your pet’s diet does not contain calcium in sufficient quantities

     

    TIP

    • Calcium citrate is ideal both for allergic dogs and for those with more delicate digestion
    • It is more gentle on the digestive system than other forms of calcium
    • Admix it with food or a small amount of honey and plain yoghurt
    Dosage Instructions
    RECOMMENDED DOSAGE (per day):

    dogs: ~ 2g / 5kg of body weight

    puppies < 1 year: ~ 4-6g / 5kg of body weight

    cats: ~ 1,5g / 5kg of body weight

    kittens < 1 year: ~ 3-4g / 5kg of body weight

    scoop included, 1 spoon ~ 3g
