    Supports thick and shiny fur, healthy skin, and strong claws. It is recommended if the fur is dandruffy and lacklustre or the skin is dry. It is beneficial during shedding, and also useful if the claws are splitting easily.

    It contains the whole complex of B vitamins: it is rich in B1 (thiamin), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin) B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), and B9 (folic acid) vitamin. Its zinc, selenium, and iron content supports the functions of the immune system.

    • Brewer’s yeast is made from the unicellular type of fungi produced during the brewing of beer. It grows on barley and hop. It is a useful supporter of fur, skin, and the immune system – it is a 100-per-cent natural dietary supplement

    TIP

    • It can accelerate shedding and hence, it is worthwhile to supplement the diet with over a 6- to 8- week course when shedding is about to begin, both in the spring and in the autumn
    • It may be administered admixed to food, or a small amount of honey and plain yogurt
